Dr. Hamidinia received his MD Degree from the School of Medicine, Mashhad, Iran. He did his internship in general surgery at Riverside Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Dr Hamidinia did his residency in in general surgery at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, Connecticut and at Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York. Dr Hamidinia did his urology residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Dr Hamidinia was in the Health Corps of the Imperial Army of Iran.
Dr. Hamidinia is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of national and international organizations including the American Urological Association, the Fertility Society, the American association of Clinical Urologists, among others. He is dedicated to resident and medical student education. Dr Hamidinia is a guest lecturer for medical student courses associated with urology. He has been awarded the Albert B Huffer Outstanding Teacher of Clinical Surgery by Wright State University. Dr Hamidinia is the founder of the international educational exchange program “Urologists in Action”, which provides cross-culture urologic education. Dr Hamidinia has published numerous articles in such journals as Investigative Urology, Fertility Sterility, Surgery Gynecology and Obstetrics, Journal of Urology, American Journal of Medicine, and others.
