R Bruce Bracken, M.D., Professor of Surgery, Division of Urology, University of Cincinnati Department of Surgery. He has been recognized nationally including Best Doctors in America (Urology) and locally (Top Doctors, Cincinnati Magazine)

Dr. Bracken sees patients at UC Physicians Medical Arts Building in Clifton, and UC Physicians at University Pointe in West Chester
Dr. Bracken received his undergraduate degree and his MD degree from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba. He served his internship and also served as a junior resident at Montreal General Hospital. He completed general surgery residency at Winnipeg General Hospital in Manitoba. Dr Bracken’s urology residency was completed at the University of Michigan. He also completed a fellowship at Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases in New York. Dr. Bracken is certified in Urologic surgery by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Bracken is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of national and international organizations including the American Urological Association, past President of the North Central Section of the American Urological Association, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Urology, Society of University Urologists, Society of Urologic Oncology, Societe Internationale Urologie, among others. He has served as an expert reviewer for Urology and Urologic Oncology. Dr Bracken has published the book Atlas of Bladder Pathology, as well as over 120 articles. He is active in resident education and has done over 100 abstracts, presentations and media events with residents and/or other colleagues. Dr Bracken also has a strong clinical studies research presence in the Division with over 60 clinical trials where he is Principal Investigator.
