Dr. Babcock received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his M.D. degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He served his internship at Cincinnati General Hospital and his residency in urology at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio and Northwestern University in Chicago Dr. Babcock is certified in urology by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Babcock is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of national and international organizations including the American Urological Association, the Academy of Medicine, the American Society of Lasers and Medicine and Surgery, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, among others. He has served as the Program Director in the Laser Applications in Urology program at The Christ Hospital. Dr Babcock also served in the United States military’s 31st Engineer Battalion in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star, among other military awards. Dr Babcock has several publications in peer reviewed journals, such as Urology and the Journal of Journal. Dr. Babcock also has several book chapters published.
