The Division of Urology offers a full range of surgical treatment options with strong emphasis on minimally invasive and robotic-assisted procedures that promote early recovery and decreased pain. State-of-the-art treatment is available for prostate, bladder and kidney cancers and disease, as well as urological trauma. The Division also has expertise in treating sexual dysfunction and male infertility, urological infections, and incontinence.

For the sixth consecutive year, the University of Cincinnati Division of Urology at University Hospital was listed among the top 50 urology programs in the United States by US News & World Report. It was the only local urology program to be recognized.

Our faculty has significant experience in robotic-assisted approaches to radical prostatectomy and nephrectomy, pyeloplasty, ureteral re-implant, and reconstruction of the genitourinary tract. Radio-frequency ablation (RFA) and cryoablation continue to show promising results in the treatment of small renal tumors.
